Week 2: Who Wants an Update???

CURRENT TOTAL: 24,772 DIAPERS!!!!

If you haven’t yet donated, please do.  I need 1,000+ diapers EVERY DAY in November to hit our goal.  I feel confident this can be finished this month, and diapers will be distributed the first week of December.  What a blessing for families not to have to worry about this cost around the holidays (and hopefully for months after). 

One note I loved this week was from a local mom, (shout out to Charla) who happens to work at Target and thought she might be able to help.  Say no more, Charla, I am here for it.  And help they did! 

Another thing I loved is when I reached out to a local pantry to tell them they would be receiving 10,000 diapers-and the director was like “Oh my gosh, I would have been happy with 100.”  I said it wouldn’t be 100, it would be 10,000.  Currently, they don’t even have enough to give actual small packs of diapers, and so they are split into baggies-often 10 given out at a time.

For those of you that are complete strangers, order from the Amazon Wishlist and leave me the absolutely BEST notes that make me super happy-thank you.  (I keep them by the way.) The support and kindness is incredible.

Finally, I have been feeling bad for the delivery drivers.  You might not know what this amount of boxes look like-but the Amazon and Walmart delivery drivers do, and I feel confident that they strongly dislike me.  I now have a box of candy and a thank you note for anyone who shows up at my door.  Anything for the diapers.  LOL.
